Cross-border taxes are where costly mistakes happen: unreported foreign accounts, missed treaty benefits, filings done twice or not at all. Omega Tax Group is led by an IRS Enrolled Agent and an international tax specialist (AFSP) who handle U.S. tax compliance for people with lives, income, and accounts in more than one country — in English, Russian, or Ukrainian.
Federal and state returns with foreign income · FBAR (FinCEN Form 114) · FATCA Form 8938 · ITIN applications (Form W-7) · Foreign tax credit (Form 1116) · Foreign Earned Income Exclusion (Form 2555) · Streamlined filing for those catching up on missed years · Tax planning before you move to or from the U.S.
An Enrolled Agent is federally licensed by the IRS with unlimited rights to represent taxpayers — the same standing as a CPA or attorney in front of the IRS. International filings draw more scrutiny than domestic ones, so having your preparer able to represent you if questions come up isn't a luxury. Founder Evgeniya Sheldon, EA, has 15+ years of practice; co-founder Nataliia Strutovska (AFSP) specializes in international compliance. More than 500 clients across the U.S. trust us with exactly these situations.
I live abroad and haven't filed U.S. taxes in years. Am I in trouble?
Usually fixable. The IRS Streamlined Foreign Offshore Procedures let qualifying non-willful filers catch up on 3 years of returns and 6 years of FBARs, typically without penalties. The worst move is continuing to wait.
Do I really have to report my foreign bank account?
Yes — if all your foreign accounts combined exceeded $10,000 at any moment during the year, the FBAR is mandatory even if the accounts earned nothing. It's an information report, not a tax, but the penalties for skipping it are severe.
Can you work with me if I'm not in Florida?
Yes. Most of our international clients work with us fully remotely — secure document upload, e-signatures, and video calls, in English, Russian, or Ukrainian.
What does it cost?
It depends on the forms your situation requires. We quote a flat fee up front after a short consultation — no surprises.
A 30-minute consultation is usually enough to map out exactly what you need to file — and what you can stop worrying about.
